West End Celebration in Sand City

Celebrate local arts and culture at this annual street scene, with over 150 artists, crafters, and vendors. Experience the eco-friendly perspective of the “Green Scene” on Ortiz Avenue and check out the information booths offering information on everything from community gardens to solar power.
Stop by the Sustainable Seaside/FOSPA booth on Saturday and Sunday to learn about our ongoing projects and upcoming events. We’re located on Ortiz Avenue, (across from Mark’s Barn Auto & Body shop).
Each year, the fourth week in August, six blocks in the heart of Sand City are closed to traffic, and the streets are transformed into pedestrian galleries for visual and performing artists. Sidewalk theater is part of the fun, and live music fills the air from three stages showcasing local and regional acts.
