Join us on Saturday, April 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Devendorf Park for the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea’s 4th Annual Earth & Arbor Day Event.

Let’s come together to celebrate people and our planet with tree planting, environmental initiatives, and community resources.

The Environmental Department and Community Activities Department have set the date for the 4th Annual Earth and Arbor Day event in Devendorf Park. The festivities will take place on Saturday, April 18th, from 10 am-2 pm. The event was a great success last year, and we hope you will all join us again. This year, we plan to showcase city EVs and our tree equipment. We are integrating fun games and competitions for kids and adults.

Seaside Earth Day

Earth Day 2026 is a free, family-friendly event, with activities for all ages to celebrate nature, and work toward a greener future for all!

Seaside Earth Day Celebration Marks 15 Years and honors Laguna Grande Park’s 50th Anniversary with a day of free, family-friendly activities

Join us for a free, family-friendly community event at Laguna Grande Park – Lakeside – in Seaside to celebrate Earth Day and the 50th Anniversary of the Laguna Grande Regional Park Joint Powers Authority (JPA).

It’s a great chance to celebrate our planet with a day of fun activities, local vendors, and to enjoy cool community vibes.

This year’s emcee is Seaside Mayor Pro Tem, Dave Pacheco.

HIGHLIGHTS 1 PM to 4 PM:
• 30+ exhibitor booths
• Live music: Palenke Arts (Danza Mexika, Folklórica & AfroCaribbean percussion) + The Hovering Breadcat Duo with Derek Bodkin and Tommy Knowles
• Kids activities: face painting, bounce house, nature crafts
• Free raffle (Earth-friendly prizes)
• E-waste collection (cell phones, laptops, computers)
• Tomato & herb starts ($2 suggested donation)
• Food available (Big Sur Taco Truck)

ANNIVERSARY ACTIVITIES (10 AM–1 PM):
• 10:15 AM Guided Bird Walk
• 11:00 AM Nature Walk
• All-day: historical displays, Bird Bingo, nature crafts, tule cordage-making, recreation games
