Coastal Cleanup Day is the largest global clean-up event of the year.  Make a positive impact on our beautiful Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary by volunteering to help clean up Robert’s Lake and/or Monterey State Beach (Seaside). Sponsored by Save Our Shores, Sustainable Seaside, the Ocean Defenders Club of Seaside High School, the Monterey High School Ocean Advocacy Club, and the City of Seaside.

California Coastal Cleanup Day marks its 40th anniversary this year. The event is organized by the California Coastal Commission and the Ocean Conservancy, and its goals are to remove marine debris from beaches and waterways and to give back to the ocean, beaches, and creeks.
