Community Day at Marks Ranch
Big Sur Land Trust warmly invites you to explore this historic ranch along the Highway 68 corridor. Enjoy an easy self-guided 1-mile walk through open fields and under shady oaks while soaking in the peace and seasonal beauty of this cherished landscape.
Along the way, hone your birdwatching skills with our friends from Monterey Audubon Society, learn about the recent history of Marks Ranch from Big Sur Land Trust staff, and wander through the rare cactus garden behind the historic house.
Location and Parking
The entrance to Marks Ranch is located here. Parking is available near the entrance and along nearby streets.
Marks Ranch (managed by the Big Sur Land Trust) is located near Toro Park at 501 Monterey-Salinas Highway 68, Salinas, CA 93908.
*Registration is not required, everyone is welcome! A waiver will need to be filled out at the entrance if you do not register here. Please bring your friends and family but leave your 4-legged companions at home.
