Stage Performances

Danza Mexika - Ballet Folklórico

Danza Mexika, led by instructor/choreographer Julissa Reyes, will showcase traditional Mexican dances that, just like stories, have passed down through the generations. The myths and legends are kept alive through its dances.

The Palenke Arts Afro Cuban Drummers will take you on a musical journal as you experience the vibrant beats of the African diaspora.  The group will perform lively rhythms as they move through Cuba, Puerto Rico, South America, and the Congo in Africa.  It’s an unforgettable celebration of culture and sound!

AfroCuban Drummers

The Hovering Cat Duo features Derek Bodkin and Tommy Knowles.  They perform a mix of Americana originals and familiar tunes with their unique twist.  Singer-songwriter  Derek Bodkin is a world-champion whistler, banjo/guitarist, and percussionist.  Tommy Knowles is an accomplished musician who plays with several troubadour troupes on the Central Coast.
