DESCRIPTION:Volunteer with the Monterey County Resource Conservation District\, Luna Dorada Farms\, and community members to plant an elderberry hedgerow at this woman-owned\, small\, organic farm in Hollister.  9-5 pm\, March 31st.  Sign up for location details. \nBring your friends! Bring everything you need to be comfortable working outside in warm weather (sun protection\, water\, snacks\, footwear etc). \nLunch will be provided (tamales\, vegetarian option). \nThis project is the best of both worlds! Elderberries are both a marketable crop and perennial native plants that will bring pollinators and other biodiversity to the farm. There will be a range of light-duty to physically demanding tasks with which participants may assist to ensure a successful project while learning more about conservation practices on small-scale diversified organic farming systems in the Central Coast region. \nCome as long as you can to LUNA DORADA FARMS\, SAN JUAN BAUTISTA\, CA.
